Supplies

When I was in art school about a hundred years ago there was an exersize we had to do which was to paint 2 small objects as realistically as possible in 2 days, from start to finish. I decided to try it again and this painting is the result. It is of an erasor and a box of matches that I found in an old box of stuff my father in law had collected. Looking at the completed painting it reminds me of school supplies, an erasor for all my mistakes and a box of matches for smoking in the boys room. It was fun to do this little quickie exersize.
